Scheduling Tab with IMAP

I am using an IMAP account and I would like to use my calendar to schedule
meetings. I have a few questions related to this:
1. Is there a way to get the scheduling tab to show up when using an IMAP
account? Or do you have to be using an Exchange account?
2. Is there a way, using an Exchange account (or IMAP account, assuming
"yes" to above) that I can leverage free/busy information provided by a
general CALDAV server? For example, if I am trying to schedule a meeting with
2 people internally and an external client who is sharing free/busy using
CALDAV, I would really like to see all 3 people's free/busy information.

Yes, that's an Exchange only feature. IMAP does not support calendaring.

I would *love* to see CalDAV support in Entourage but it's not there
now. Please be sure to let Microsoft know you'd like to see this feature
in future versions by using the Help --> Send Feedback mechanism in any
Office application.
