Scheduling Time for Self-Education

L

Locksley Young

I am trying to use Outlook for Calendar appointment scheduling and Task
management. I am having difficulty deciding on how to schedule time for
doing self-development courses. Blocks of time on the Calendar or as set
Tasks to be accomplished, such as Chapter X to Chapter Y.

What do you thinnk?

Thanks in advance for your input.

From a time management point of view it depends on:

can you work on tasks without so many interruptions that this has to occur
after hours?

when you block time on the Calendar, is that what you then actually do
during that time? Or do you procrastinate, get dragged off to meetings etc.

Without knowing your workstyle it's hard to advise!
