Scheduling time on a machine

How do I schedule time used on a machine? I want to track if it was
used at 10am for three hours or 2pm for 2 hours. Or whatever. How can
I enable everyone to see this calendar?

Karen:

You need to model the machine as a work resource and then treat it the same
way you treat other work resources. In 2003, you'll need to logon as the
machine using Project Server credentials to update the actual work. You can
apply a unique resource calendar if the standard calendar doesn't apply.
Server 2007 gives you the ability to land the non-human work resources tasks
on the My Tasks page of other resources, so this is a little more manageable
in the new version.
