Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right group for this question, so please
bear with me.
I need to find a way to automate sending e-mails - one of the users
needs to periodically send some reminders. This is in a corporate
environment, where admins close down pretty much everything, and I
can't for example use windows scheduler, launching a script using
Outlook via automation. But I can use Outlook scheduler, and need to
figure out the rest. Ideally user would see a simple dialog with
checkboxes first, to choose which reminders to send out. After
selecting and clicking a button, e-mails would be sent. There's no
need for the user to change body of the messages, these can be
hardcoded somewhere, as well as subjects. List of addresees could be a
distrubtion list, because these will change every now and then.
I'd appreciate any pointers as to what is possible in Outlook (I
believe it's still version 2000), and where to look next. I'm a
programer (obviously clueless about Office), and given a hint I can
probably find the details on my own.
Thanks in advance for any leads,
Chris
