Schema description for export/import between Project and Access

I'm looking for documentation that would help me interpret and use data in MS
Access that has been exported from MS Project and vice-versa. I have a
database of things related to each other (dependencies) that have durations,
but that have a lot of other information about the elements. I want to use MS
Project to model and manage the relationships, manipulate the project-type
atributes, and then update the database on a regular basis. Any help with
understanding the schema would be great!

I have had success useing this method to export data to Excel.
On the View menu, click Gantt Chart.
2 If applicable, select the tasks you want to export.
3 On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Analysis.
4 Click Analyze Timescaled Data in Excel.
5 Following the Analyze Timescaled Data Wizard instructions, click the
fields you want to export to Excel.
