I have excel 2002 (OFFICE XP SMALL BUSINESS SUITE)on a
dell computer which I purchased two years ago. I would
like to perform non linear curve fitting on
(chemistry/biochemistry derived) data sets that I
generate. I have used -excel fit- on "company computers"
in the past but I cannot find this package - or a similar
one - in my excel program or in the "addins" from the
program disk. Ideally it would allow me to choose from a
list of relevant fitting functions and let me generate new
ones. Any ideas?

Thank you very much!

This may be of some help. Plot your data using a scatter
plot. You may then add a trendline by right clicking on
one of the points. You may then select the type of
function and under the options tab you can select the
equation to be displayed on the scatter plot.

Hope this will help you get started
