screen clipping an image

when i screen clip an image into one not it doesnt save the image. it just
displays the site from where the image came from.
any suggestionson how to get the image to save?

How are you screen clipping the image? Can you point to the site you are
trying to screen clip?
Did you change screen clipping preferences from the OneNote system tray icon
to copy the image only to the clip board?

Hey
Im screen clipping the image by pressing windows+ s and i also tried inset
screen clipping.... they bring up the page that you were last in an you can
copy what you want and it says that its copied but it just comes up with the
website address.... i pressed control + v in word to see if it was actually
copying the text and images that i selected and it was copying it.... so
basically it just wont copy into One Note

What do you mean by changing the clipping preferance from the ON system tray
icon to copy the image only to the clipboard??

Sorry Shannan,
I am still not very clear with the problem you are experiencing.

Here is what I am thinking, let me know if I am missing something -

- You have a web page having images in a browser window.
- You do Win+S
- Screen goes into the selection mode
- you select the image
- OneNote opens (on the current page)
- It has the website address of the image, but image itself did not make it
through

Couple of more questions,
- which version of OneNote are you using?
- Does this happen to all the websites?
- If you try right clicking on the image on the web page, copy the image and
paste it in OneNote, does that work?
