Screen clipping stopped working

In ON 2007, screen clipping just stopped working: I am shown the
window behind, but I don't get the cross cursor to select a clipping.
What should I do when that happens? Restart Vista?

Does the screen turn "white" still? Do you still have the OneNote icon in
the Notification Area on the bottom of the screen next to the Task Bar?

I just tried it again. Yes, the screen turned white, but the selected
clipping wasn't transfered to OneNote. Afterwards, the screen didn't
even turn white - simply nothing happened, except that the window in
the back was brought to the front.

Do you still have the OneNote icon in
the Notification Area on the bottom of the screen next to the Task Bar?
