Screen Clippings Creation

If I'm in a computer application program that has normal menus (File, Edit,
View etc) and I want the Screen clipping to include a selected (dropped down)
menu and it's commands how do I accomplish this? If you click your mouse
(right or left) the menu collapses or switch to OneNote on the taskbar the
menu collapses and doesn't appear in the screen clipping.

This example sounded like the most simplistic one to use.

Well....I guess you could use PRNTSCRN to copy the screen to the clipboard
with the menu open. Then either paste that image into OneNote, or paste it
into some other application (like Paint) then use Screen clipping to crop
just the menu/area that you want.
