hi,
I cannot track down what is causing my problem. I have a workbook with
numerous tabs. The data on the tabs is put in by macros and include a
number of formulas including VLOOKUPs to a hidden sheet. There are
also conditional formats.
Under certain conditions I get screen leak - i.e the tab I am viewing
is corrupted by bits of another tab(s) seeping through. It is only
cosmetic and if I click away from the tab and go back, everything is
fine.
If I turn off automatic calculation then the corruption only happens
when I do a manual calculation F9.
I originally had a UDF used in my conditional format but removed that
as I had read that may cause some problems. So my conditional formats
tend to be based on things like DATEDIF or in some cases the values of
cells which themselves are formulas like VLOOKUP.
I also had zoom levels at different amounts for different tabs but
changed all those to 100% as I had read that may cause a problem but
still to no avail.
So I have tried to search but not found a solution. Has anyone come
across a similar problem - found a way to fix it?
I am tearing out what little hair I have left! I do not really want to
change all my conditional formatting, or change my formulas on a trial
and error basis if someone knows a solution as that is going to be a
big job.
cheers
Phil
