screen flicker in Outlook

When viewing the list of emails in a folder in Outlook, the screen flickers
as though the page is refreshing. This only just began to happen yesterday.
I'm not sure if I inadvertantly changed a setting, but I'd sure like the
annoying flicker to stop. It's not my screen - this happens now on both my
laptop and when using the screen on my docking station. I hooked up my laptop
to another monitor to check out the problem, and it the flickering / refresh
still occurs. It happens about every second or two. Making me nuts. Anyone
have any suggestions?

First thing that I'd do is to run Outlook in its safe mode ("outlook.exe
/safe") to eliminate loading any plug-ins that might affect behavior of
Outlook.

Hi Kelia,
If it is any consolation you are not alone. I have OL 2007 showing on my
second monitor where it occasionally start’s a screen flicker as you
describe. If I mouse click in the list of emails (Inbox) the problem stops....
I have not yet found the circumstances where it occurs so I cannot reproduce
it at will.
PS I do not have ANY add-in loaded as I’m also trying to find another
problem with Outlook hogging CPU resources when I delete emails.
