Screen Font Clarity

Does anyone know any other ways to clear up the screen fonts? I have tried
ClearType which has done nothing and also the brightness of the screen. The
type on the screen is blurry with multiple color schemes in each letter.

Is this only in Office, or all windows applications, and when you boot.
If the latter have you installed/updated any display drivers lately? If you
installed winupdate display drivers, roll back your driver - see Win Help
Never obtain drivers from winupdate, only from the device supplier or your
PC supplier

Are you using an LCD monitor? If so, have you set it to the native
resolution. If you have a CRT monitor, turn OFF cleartype as that will
make the fonts fuzzy.

Bob - I do have an LCD monitor. I found where the Screen Resolution control
is but am not sure what you mean by "native resolution".

Each LCD monitor has a native resolution that equates to the exact number of
pixels horizontally and vertically in the display. The information will be
available in the manual that came with the monitor or on the manufacturer's
web site. Set the resolution of the video card to that resolution and it
should clear up your problems.

For more information see the following articles

To change resolution in the adaptor see:

Hope this helps, let us know.
