Screen Goes Black when Draw Line

Here's a weird problem... Using Excel 2007 - when I draw a line, the screen
goes black, making it impossible to see the line to decide on length, etc.

As soon as I release the mouse, the screen goes back to being fine.

Anyone heard of this before?
