Lotsa thoughts. The main one being "Yes, Word is a text FLOW application,
it will need to repaginate the document each time you make change to an
area that has text after it."
However, Word provides Normal View just for this purpose. In Normal View,
the display is not WYSIWYG, which means it does not have to repaginate the
display. It also triggers a whole lot of other power-saving techniques
which make Normal View the display of choice for editing serious documents.
There's lots more we may be able to tell you once we have the information
Bob asked for, without which we're flying blind amongst the 12 or 13
operating systems and 10 or 12 versions of Word that we support.
Cheers
Adding a bullet, cutting, pasting -simple, right?
I don't know why, bu my screen has to redraw each time I do this. Its
very time consuming.
Any thoughts?
BTW, the doc is all text. 150 pages.
Thank you!
