We had a consultant write code in a form to produce our
bills with two tabs for adding charges/disbursemnts in
Word 2000.

We are just moving to Word XP and using the same template,
the first time you switch between the two tabs, the box
into which you type details doesn't appear. If you switch
to the other tab and back again, the box appears.

How can I get it to show the box to input info the first
time I click on the relevant tab.
