Screen saver turned off by Power Point

Every time I run a Power Point Show (.pps) it shuts off my
screen saver and returns it to (none).

I couldn't find anything in Knowledge Base.

Bob,

When it runs as a slideshow, it should temporally disable it, but not turn
it off. So, what version of PowerPoint and what version of Windows?

Bob, are you running PowerPoint 2000? Have you applied Service Pack 2?
That problem is fixed in SP-2.
