I need to paste a screen shot or screen capture into an email to explain a difficulty I'm having with software. I can't find instructions for screen shots. Has anyone got any ideas?

I am not sure what this has to do with MS Office but if no then,
then....

Use the PrintScreen for the whole windows or Alt+Printscreen for the
active window. Paste in a suitable application that will accept
graphics.

in other words what he's (or she's) trying to say is to
press printscreen then open microsoft paint (or any other
picture program) click edit click paste (or press and
hold ctrl + v) then trim the edges for file size (not
required) and save it then email it
