When we open visio there is a good portion of gray that you have to scroll through to get to the actual drawing. Is there a way to take care of this?

There are a couple ways to address this
Go to the Tools menu and select "Customize." The Cusomize dialog box will open
Select the "Commmands" tab and select "View in the "categories" list box on the left
In the "Commands" box to the right, drag "Page Width" and "Whole Page" to your tool bar area of Visio

When you open a file, you can clickon either of these and you will get the appropriate view of the page w/o scrolling

If you have an Intellimouse with a wheel, you can click on the page, hold down control, and turn the wheel to enlarge or reduce the page. If you hold down the "Shift " key, you can scroll side to side. If you don't press any key, you can scroll top to bottom

There are other options when customizing "view" tools that you can try to see which you prefer

Hi,

You can use CTRL + W to center the drawing on the screen
