Screen tips message flicker in Word 2003

Screen tip messages flicker in Word 2003. Problem occurs with cursor over
footnote and endnote marks, and with cursor over "added text" when using
Track Changes facility. Turning screen tips off then on, does not help.
Turning Document Map on then off doesn't help. Any suggestions, greatly
appreciated. --TonySeb
