Screen update problem

I have a mainmenu form with several buttons that open other forms, for
instance form A (which is wider then the mainmenu form). When form A is
closed, several actions take place. When closing form A, the part of it that
is wider than the mainmenu form, disappears from the screen. But the part of
form A that overlaps the mainmenu is still visible for about 1 or 2 seconds
and then disappears. So when closing, form A shows cut off, which doesn't
look very professional. Does someone have a solution for this?

Have you seen this behavior on other computers while running the database? It
could be more of a hardware or video driver problem.
