screenshot changed in Outlook message

I am a software tester. Last night I was testing a web based document
reviewing product. When I find a bug, I send an email letting our software
development team know about it. Included in the email were 3 different screen
shots.
To get the screen shot I hold the Alt key down & press the Print Screen
key. Then I go to an email message & Ctrl + V to paste it into the email.
Like I’ve done 100’s of times. But when I tried to add the 2nd screenshot it
was a mirror image of the first screen shot. I retried the same process and
still got the first screenshot’s image twice. So I thought OK…The 3rd time I
pasted into a blank Word (Office 2003 Pro) document. Then cut and pasted into
the email. This seemed to work all 3 images were different views of the same
Webpage.
Today I get a reply back from the software developer, with my original
message included. All 3 screenshots were the same image, no differences. I am
100% positive that there were 3 distinctly different screenshots in my
original message.
I was using Internet Explorer 6.0.9. for my browser.
Anyone know what happened to the screenshots? Why were they changed? Did
this happen before or after they left my Outlook 2003 outbox?
