screenshow with hotfolder

Hi everyone!
I am looking for a piece of software that shows images (pixel-files)
from within a folder as a full-screen and looping screen-show. Now
that isn´t really a problem, most image viewers do this. The trick is
that after showing all images it should update the list of files in
the folder, and by that making a sort of "hotfolder".

Until now I didn´t find any software that does this trick, maybe
somebody on thís newsgroup has a hint what to look at.

Or, since this is the PPT-newsgroup, maybe there is a way of using
Powerpoint and scripting in some way. Does anybody have an idea to
this?

Michael Scheck.

Hi Michael,

I'm fairly certain that this could be scripted in PPT, but it'd be a
moderately tricky project, not something you'd want to tackle your first
time into the VBA waters, so to speak.

I haven't heard of any existing macros/scripts to do this either.

Would it be possible to use one of the image viewers within a loop instead?
That is, have a bat file or some other process start it up, show all of the
files within a folder, then quit, then repeat?

If you are running Windows XP there is a niffty tool in Tweak UI to do this.
