I am receiving the error message "An error has occured in the script on this
page. Line 3 Char 1 Error: Object does not support this property or method.
Code 0." Then there is a long URL listed, and the question "Do you want to
continue running scripts on this page."
This error appears consistently in the following situation: In Word 2003,
Tools--Options, if I click on the "?" to open Microsoft Office Word Help,
the "Show all" link at the top of the help window has a red "x" in it
(apparently indicating that an image is unavailable). When I then click the
"show all" link, the error message described above appears.
If I scroll down in the help window, all of the hypertext links behave the
same way. They have the red "x" and clicking on them produces the script
error.
I could not find any description of this error in the Microsoft KB and I
have tried searching this newsgroup.
My computer is not on a network. I am running under Windows XP-home.
