Time for the final push on my project. I have 200+ individual documents that
I need to make the following changes. After opening, hit a shortcut key to:
1. Delete the first paragraph
2. Select the entire existing document and change the font and size. (*see
note below)
3. Insert a page (or section?) break at the end
4. Paste in the contents of the clipboard and repeat until the document
reaches a final length of 16 pages.
5. Save (not Save As, so no renaming needed)
6. Close the document.
* The document will be scaled down in both directions to fit a custom size
paper and printed as a booklet. We are still experimenting with the font and
size to use, so just use a change to Arial 24 pt for illustration. The
content that is pasted in after the font change is just lines and should
scale with no further modifications.
I have both Word 2000 and 2010 available and if that changes the scripting,
please specify.
Thanks.
