Script to remove deleted task from PWA

I found a script from Gary and Dale’s website on how to automatically remove
deleted tasks from a user’s task list in PWA. I am having trouble convincing
my IT department to run the Stored Procedure on a daily basis because the
script didn’t come from Microsoft. I thought I would find it on their
Knowledge base, but couldn’t. Does any one know if this script is documented
on Microsoft’s site? I know it works since I used it on another project
server box, but it’s an issue with the owners of a different box and I don’t
have admin rights to the database.

The script does not come from Microsoft, nor is it documented anywhere on
their Web site. The script was written by a user in this newsgroup, tested
extensively by many of us to confirm it is safe and works properly, and then
was listed as an FAQ on our Project Server Experts site. Given the "green
light" from the user community, I would recommend that one of your DBA's
study the SQL code to confirm that it will function safely, and then if it
passes their testing, use it on your Project Server database. Hope this
