Script to remove duplicate calendar events

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I used the remove duplicate calendar events script from

But it only identifies the dupes, it does not delete them.

Ideas?

You will need to contact the author for help. Was there an option when you
launched the script to show duplicates and not delete them? Test in a new
User account to see if there are options.

Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the
New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching. Test script in a new
blank Entourage Identity.

There is not any contact info for the author, Jolly Roger.

There are not any options for that. Also, the script seems to jam up my computer. I can't quit it, and have to restart the computer.

Scripts don't generally lock up your computer. If they are running,
everything will seem to stop until the script completes the process.

Unless an author includes an email, there is no way to contact them. I can
see if they write a script for free, they don't have to time to support it.

FWIW, the script works for others, so not sure what is going on with your
computer or your Identity that is causing you problems.
