Scroll bar for Reading Pane in Outlook 2007

I have recently gone to using Outlook 2007. I have my Inbox configured to
show messages (to, from, date, etc.) in the primary window, and I have what I
think is called a "reading pane" below. In OL 2003, this had a scroll bar;
I don't have one in 2007. How do I set up a scroll bar so I can scroll
through the text of emails in the Reading Pane?

if the message is long enough not to fit in the pane, it should have
scrolls. Does it happen with all messages or just some? if so, what format
is affected?

I have since discovered it only seems to be for messages in the Junk E-Mail
folder; that is probably by design. IN any event, I now have a scroll bar in
the Inbox folder, which is what I was concerned about.
