Scroll Bars

Installed the new Office on my Mac and suddenly I have no scroll bars. Only way to get from page to page is with the arrow keys or the page down button on my keyboard. Very slow when I want to go farther on the document. Any ideas how to get them back?

Go to Word>Preferences, switch to the View tab and enable the horizontal and
vertical scroll bars.
