scroll mouse

Usually, scrolling or dead mouse problems are due to the Word DATA key
corrupting in the registry. Run Regedit and navigate to DATA and whilst
selected press DELETE. Word will recreate a new key when it is next started.

Hi,
I had this same mouse scrolling problem with Word. I surmise that it might
be linked to the kind of (laser) mouse I am using.
Deleting the DATA key did not work for me. Also I donÿt have any Word
Add-In that could be uninstalled.
But I found a workaround. I always run Word concurrently with a free
utility called ´KatMouse¡(http://www.code-scout.net/katmouse). The Word
window becomes scrollable then.
HTH.
