Whenever I use the scrollbar (either in a datasheet or at design time in
a properties window) the scrollbar jumps back so that the field (or
property) with focus is at the top of the screen and to the left. This
happens even if I do not release the mouse. In this case if I hold the
mouse stationary the scrollbar jumps to the record with focus. When I
release the mouse the scrollbar momentarily returns to the position from
where I released the mouse, and then returns back to the record with
focus.
To work around this I have to either quickly select a new record or
property, or in the case of a datasheet select a column.
I have tried changing the mouse (one cordless the other not) to no avail.
This happens in both Access 97 and Access 2000 (both on the same
machine).
The operating systems I am using are Windows 2000 and Windows NT.
I hope someone can suggest a fix for this as it is driving me ever so
slightly potty.
Thanks in advance
