Scrolling a Powerpoint Presentation

Aimee

I am working on a power point presentation of 50 or so slides. I was
wondering if as I am doing my presentation, when I get to a group of 5 or so
slides, can I have those slides scroll continuously until I move onto the
next slide after the group?

You can make use of custom show (Slide Show > Custom Shows) to do this.
In the custom show, add the slides you want to loop.
Then, create an entrance slide and insert a hyperlink on the slide which
will link to the custom show. Put a checkmark to show and return.

Next, click Slide Show > Set up show.
Put a checkmark to Loop continuously until esc.
Also, select all the slides that are in the custom show, right click and
select hide slides.
Make sure that these slides are set to advance automatically after (Under
slide show > slide transition).

Now, when you press esc in the custom show, you will go back to the entrance
slide. Press enter or mouse click to advance to the next slide.

I have no idea what I am doing wrong but I can't seem to get this to work. I
wonder if I am missing a step.

I guess I am not sure how to create an entrance slide...if I go to a blank
slide and try to do a hyperlink it doesn't let me click on hyperlink.

Is this whole process done using multiple pp files or is it all done in one
file?

sorry for needing you to hold my hand with this....

In a our office we created a Power Point presentation with scroll bars.
Someone was trying to edit it in 2007 and they cannot. We used 2003. Does
2007 have the scroll bar option?

Hi,

Sounds like the show scrollbar option in the show settings. Go to the
Slideshow Tab, Set up Show Button, Browsed by individual (Window) and ensure
the Show Scrollbar option is checked.
