Scrolling creates duplicate lines and stops working scrolling up

This problem seems to be document specific, and the documents with problems
aren't Word 2007 (we're using 2003.) For a lot of documents, and for several
people, we can scroll down a document, but when we near the end of the
document and start scrolling up, we aren't able to keep scrolling and
whichever lines it stops at gets duplicated many times. I've played with all
sorts of options, incliding asian formatting!

Are these computers using the same hardware? What you're describing sounds
like a display driver or graphics acceleration problem. Word (all versions,
not just 2007) is particularly demanding on display drivers and graphics
hardware. I would check to make sure you're using the latest display
drivers. If that isn't the issue, and if the problem isn't occurring on all
of your computers, I would next start comparing the systems to see how they
differ.

This occurs on different systems, from laptop to desktop. Only three people
are reporting the same problem however. In any case, I have updated video
drivers and reduced hardware acceleration significantly, and it appears to
solve the problem for some documents but not all, so thank you very much!.
I've been thinking that this problem is somehow linked to the graphics
display as well, but how, I am not sure. I think it might still have partly
to do with document formatting, as with most of these documents are heavily
formatted in different ways-- such as asian alnguage translation and rules;
I've played with options a good amount.
