scrolling down while filling in the fields

I created a letter template using the mail merge fill-in
fields. While working with this template now, the letter
doesn't scroll down automatically and I can't scroll while
filling in the field, so if I want to change a date at the
End of the letter I cannot see the sentence that belongs
to it.
How can I achieve an automatic scroll down of the letter
following the fields I have to fill in?

Hi Linda,

I'm not sure I quite follow exactly what you have. You've
used Fillin fields? And these are prompting when you create a
new document? And the problem is that you aren't seeing the
document context when a field displays?

About the only thing you can do is include more information
in the Fillin field prompt.

Hey Cindy, thank's for the answer.
I don't have the complete document on my screen. When the
fillin field prompts I cannot see the context if this is
at the end of the document and I cannot scroll while
filling these fields.

As Cindy said, if you are using fillin fields about the only thing you can
do is include enough information in the prompt that it is not necessary to
see the context.

An alternative would be to use formfields, but that does require that the
document be protected which may make it not acceptable.

Another way would be to use a modeless userform which is a custom dialog
that can be displayed and remain on the screen while you move around in the
document (Like the Edit>Find dialog)

See the article "How to create a Userform" at:

http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms/CreateAUserForm.htm

To get the form to show modeless, use

UserForm1.Show 0
