scrolling during typing of emails in Outlook 2007

When my typing gets to the bottom of the email composition window, the text
does not scroll up to allow me to see what I am typing. I can type MORE
THAN A WHOLE LINE blind--the cursor is off the bottom of the window. If I
use arrow keys to get a view of what I just typed, coming to the end of the
line repeats the SCROLLTOP instead of SCROLLBOTTOM, meaning the start of the
email is visible and what I just typed is far, far below the window and not
visible.

Any fixes available?
