Scrolling in Excel

I have just moved from Office 2000 to Office XP.
In Excel 2000, when I scrolled down a large worksheet using my mouse pointer on the vertical scroll bar used to show the Excel line number alongside the mouse tip. This was very useful.
I do not seem to have this facility in Excel XP - is this a change or have I missed something in the various set-up options?
Can anyone clarify please?

When you scroll in xl2002, the worksheet actually moves. So it should even be
easier to see where you are.

I have seen that the whole of the worksheet moves but I don't find it easier to scroll - are you saying that it is not possible to display a mouse tooltip on Excel line number any more?
