Scrolling in Word

Hi,

I have a word document (small, 20 Pages). When I scroll
line by line (wheel or scrollbat), in the status bar I
see the message, that words updates the numeration of
pages in the document (german: Neunummerierung
of ...title... ist durchgeführt). This happens for each
line and seems an animation. Word slows down
significantly.

Is there any option to stop automatically renumbering of
pages? For me this is an error, because scrolling a page
does not update data, so there would be no need to
renumber.

Word Version is WORD 2002 SP2.

Any help is appreciated.

I've not seen this happen. I suggest that you make sure that you have the
latest drivers for your mouse and printer and then delete and reinstall
them.
