We are using Outlook 2000 and a few 2003. We are currently switching from
Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. When migrating users, we constantly have
complaints on speed. One of the major complaints is as users who have been
migrated scroll down a list of messages, when they come to one which has a
large attachment the system comes to a stop for several seconds. This did not
happen when they were on 5.5. It seems like Outlook is downloading the
attachment simply by highlighting the message title in the act of scrolling.
Is there a setting in Outlook which controlls this? The problem is seen in
both Outlook 2000 and 2003. Is it a server setting?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
