Scrolling using arrow keys.

Just installed WINDOWS XP Pro and upgraded Excel and Word to 2003, I find
that when scrolling using the arrow keys in either application it is
painstakingly slow even though the file is on a local drive. It does not
matter whether it is a large or small file either. The screen seems to
refresh every time the cursor drops 1 line.

It could be you didn't install the video card specific driver, or the PC
is barely adequate for the newer software. What processor and amount of
RAM do you have?
