Seach for files in Word

I recenly have been using Office & Windows 2000 and when
I would go File, Open, I could type in the file name a
key word and it would search that file for any items
matching that keyword. Since then I have upgraded to
Office and Windows XP and when I try to do a search in
word I am not allowd to/it wont work.

Any tips/suggestions? I know this was a lot faster than
having to use the main search option that comes with
Windows.

Do you mean you put the text you're looking for in the Open dialog box,
and when you find a document that contains that text, you can search the
document itself for that text without having to re-input the text into
Word's Find dialog box? That would be a neat feature.
