Search by Desk Top icon?

with Office2000 how do I get the SEARCH for Files or
folders ICON on my Desktop?

It's not part of Office, but if you want a "Search" Icon on the desktop
do the following.

Start
Search
Files or Folders
insert something in the "search for" bar
"Search Now"
"Stop Search"
File
Save Search
Navigate to Desktop
And save

Click on the Icon and it will open Search for you.

You can leave the "Search for" box blank, which makes it easier to use the
shortcut later because you don't have anything to remove when entering
your new search criteria.
