Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Can I search a
group of files in a folder for selected key words?
When you use File > Open in Word, there's a search box at the upper
right. Put your keyword into the search box.
You can refine the search further with the buttons that appear and also
using the + sign to the right of the new buttons that appear when you
search.
This search is done by MacOS X Spotlight. Only the first thousand or so
words in a document are indexed, but most of the time that's sufficient
to grab documents containing the keyword.
