Well, you 'can' but not with anything provided by Office or OS X. You might
look into file management utilities.

Does Word 2008 not contain the "Find File" option in the File > Open
dialog box? I use that occasionally in Word X. About one out of every
three times, Word crashes. But other than that, it works. :)

When you use File > Open in Word, there's a search box at the upper
right. Put your keyword into the search box.

You can refine the search further with the buttons that appear and also
using the + sign to the right of the new buttons that appear when you
search.

This search is done by MacOS X Spotlight. Only the first thousand or so
words in a document are indexed, but most of the time that's sufficient
to grab documents containing the keyword.
