search contacts in distribution list

I have Outlook 2007. I have made 10 distribution lists under one heading.
BUT when I click on the one heading name and then search for an address in
that, it never turns up anything! I can search my other general address
lists with search. Is there a way to search for an email in the distribution
lists???

I don't believe it's possible to use Search to find addresses i
Distribution Lists. Why not use Categories instead of DLs
