I use indenting pretty heavily to hide details in my notes. This causes long
pages to be shrunk to something I can read without scrolling.
If I run a search that is expected to find a lot of results, Search expands
those indented, collapsed paragraphs - this is good, or I wouldn't see the
search results.
However, I have to manually collapse these, which turns out to be a lot of
work, especially when I have a couple layers of indentation to collapse for
each point on the page.
Is there a way to cause the document to go back to the state it was in
before the search? I'm pretty particular about how I leave the "state of
collapse"
Here's the workaround I discovered, for anyone else who finds this irksome:
1) Right-click the paragraph handle next to any top level paragraph
2) Choose option "Select all at Same Level"
3) Repeate step 1
4) Choose option "Hide levels below" and in the pop-out menu select "Level 1"
Thanks!
