I am using Frontpage 2003. I want to add a search facility to my Company
Intranet site. Is it better to use the FP search facility or another
facility. If the latter any suggestions?

Depends on the server and server OS.

If windows then I would go with the FP search.

I've used the FP search on my construction company's website. I removed it
because it will search all of the nav bars also. For example, a section for
our education projects. Say I have a couple of pages for projects at XYZ
Academy. A search for "XYZ Academy" will return all of the education pages,
and any other page where XYZ Academy in in a nav bar, not just my XYZ Academy
pages. I don't know if there is a way around this, but I couldn't find it.

And the same would happen with a regular search engine, such as Google.
