Search Field

I am using FrontPage 2003
Does MicroSoft or any other web site have a training session on how to
create a "Search" field in FrontPage? The help section in FrontPage makes it
look very simple, but I am not getting the result I am expecting. I must be
doing something wrong. I would appreciate any type of training on this
subject that I can find.

Thank you - Aurora

You must publish and access the site from a web server via http that has the FP extensions installed
and configured to support the FP search component. Are you doing this?

Tom:
I am not sure. Our website was created by someone who is not with our
Company anymore. I am working on an Intranet that is for our Company use
only. It is located on the network server of our Parent Co. I started
maintaining this website around 2-1/2 years ago. In the beginning, I did
have to publish the pages as I updated/changed them. Later, the designer
told me that I did not have to publish each page - just save it after each
change. So for at least the last year - that is what I have done. The
person who created this website is not here anymore and I have been asked to
keep the website updated and add new information as required. I need to
learn how to create a search field to be able to search form specific
information. Does this help you at all understand what I am doing?

Thank you for your interest in my problem -Aurora
