Search Folder Multiple Criteria

I get a lot of spam in my junk mail folder.
I have created a search folder to make it easier to delete the real spam in
bulk. It is multiple critera such as:
Subject contains enlarge
subject conains replica
subject contains viagra
etc etc, and similar entries for "message contains".
It doesn't seem to work very consistently. I thought at first it was
treating the list as if they were all ".AND." but that's not consistent, so
I'm scratching my head here.

TIA

you'd probably do better using rules and the "Run Now" function - run them
on the folder ot delete the messages containing those words.

Thank you, but:

-I still want to have a quick glance at them to make sure I'm not deleting
anything that I do want.

-I still want to understand why there is a search folder feature with
apparent capability of multiple criteria, and yet it doesn't behave
predictably. (IOW I want to know if it's me or if it's Outlook 2003)

what is happening with the search folder? it should work reliably. Note that
HTML spam often isn't what you think you see and that can affect searching
by keywords - the HTML often breaks words with comment tags - so what you
read as "enlarge" is in the html as "en<!-- got you -->la<!-- fooled
you -->rg<!-- haha -->e"

Here's an example:
I use Spamassasin on my server, so about 25% of my junk mail has "SPAM" in
the subject, added by spamassasin.

The criteria for my search folder are:

subject contains spam
and;
pill
bigger
medication
meds
penis
confidence
we have
message
sex
pills
link
try
SPAM
penis
office enterprise
(All as separate lines preceded by "subject contains")

Yet there are 5 with "spam" and 2 with "office enterprise" and none of them
appear in the search folder.

I understand what you're saying about the html code, but I have another
search folder for lots of similar keywords contained in the message, and much
of the spam is plain text, but again, not appearing in the search folder.

Also, does it only process the search as the mail arrives?

Muchas Gracias!
