Search Folders,Email display names and actual email addresses

Does anyone know how to get the "Advanced" tab of search folders in OL2003 to
behave as the "Messages" tab does?

What I want to achieve is to have multiple criteria, one of which being if
an email is from a particular domain, then it is a positive match, as well as
other keyword type criteria. But it seems you cannot mix use of the tabs.

Maybe you could explain what it is you're trying to accomplish. You can certain set multiple search criteria with the Advanced tab.
