Apologies for the cross-post: it may be relevant to all groups.
I have a form with multiple sub-forms that I need to implement as a
search form/query. The form(s) would come up blank, allow me to enter in
my search criteria, and click "search". That would take the data, run it
through the query, and display back on exactly the same form.
I have tried setting my text areas as unbounded text boxes, but I do not
know where to go from there.
Further, if this could function as an "add data" form, that would be
marvelous (one button saying "search", the other saying "add
information").
I am relatively new to Access (97), so all help is appreciated.
Many thanks.
PS: The database is mostly a contact database--if I search (eg) in the
"phone" field, it would also be great if it would display the searched
phone number at the top of the search field, or move the mouse to it,
highlight it, etc.
