Search Function

I have created a database for my shop but am in need of
some serious help. I need to put a search function on the
page itself that will allow me to locate a specific line
item without running through the entire database. I have
no training what-so-ever on MS Access and only know what
I've managed to figure out myself. Any help tellin
me "How-to" would be greatly appreciated.

If you have your data on a form now (your table as
the source of a form), there is a method called "Filter By
Form" that is available at the top of the screen while the
a form is open. That is a way.
