Search in Excel

If I search in columns which cover over one screen window,
after first Find in column A, do other operations, then Find column A again,
Find will start from two different locations
1. Find from beginning of column
2. Find from beginning of current windows of column
Obviouly, 2 is better than 1. You can start Find from location near your last Find
It seems that Find isn't stead in these two state, is it
Shall I control the state of Find

Victor,

I don't know what other operations you do, but as far as I know :whenever
you restart Find after doing some operations, it starts from the cursor
position.
Thus if you want to continue from the last find onwards, just put the cursor
back in the cell where the last find found what you were searching.

next find will start from horizon cell

The two case I describe happen in a same condition,
which operate find after select whole column

How can I continue the find in column?

In that case (you try to find something in column A only) put the cursor in
the cell from the last Find.
Then select the rest of the column (downwards I suppose).
You can do this by holding <SHIFT> while you press <END> <Downarrow> or
<Pagedown>.
Then make sure that you search by column en do the search.
As I said in my previous posting : As far as I know the search will continue
from the cell in which you cursor is positioned.

Many thanks for your information and patience

I think I understand you entirely

I also find the true reason which disturb me these days
I get two different results in same operation on two excels
for one use Freeze Panes in top of excel and the other is not
If using Freeze Panes, no matter where cursor just stay,
after selecting whole column,
find will be executed from the beginning of column
